Pamela Barlow (she/her), MSW, has worked in the field of mental health and human services for more than 25 years, supporting individuals, families, and communities through life’s most challenging experiences. Her work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a neuroscience-informed understanding of how the central nervous system adapts to stress, adversity, and relationships.

Pamela believes that anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, and other recurring patterns are not signs that something is wrong with you. They are often the language of a nervous system that learned to protect you. Her approach helps clients better understand these protective patterns, replace self-criticism with curiosity, and grow their capacity to respond to life’s challenges with greater flexibility and confidence.

Every person brings a unique story, along with strengths, resilience, and the capacity for growth. Pamela provides a safe, collaborative, and individualized experience where clients can explore their experiences at a pace that feels supportive. Drawing from attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, family systems, motivational interviewing, narrative practices, mindfulness, and other evidence-informed approaches, she tailors her work to the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, Pamela’s goal is to help you better understand your nervous system, strengthen your relationships, and develop practical tools that support lasting well-being.
